This privacy policy describes how Flux Editing (Chamber of Commerce: 5311135), hereinafter referred to as ‘Flux’, a freelance video editor based in the Netherlands, collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our services and platform.

What data we collect

Flux collects the following data when you use our platform: name and contact details (email address), company name (if applicable), project files you upload (footage, images, audio), feedback and comments on video exports, and technical data such as language preference and session information.

How we use your data

We use your data solely for: delivering our video editing services, invoicing and payment processing, communication about your projects, and improving our platform.

Payments via Stripe

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a certified PCI Level 1 payment processor. Flux does not store any credit card or bank details on its servers. All payment information is handled directly by Stripe. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy for more information.

Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies: session cookies for authentication and a cookie for your language preference. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to deliver our services and comply with legal obligations (such as tax retention requirements). Project files are retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access your personal data, rectify inaccurate data, erase your data, restrict processing, and data portability. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
